All operations can be done from one of the Bizfon phone models. Though Bizfon can work with any analog phone, you lose a lot in ease of use and features (buttons). Go for the Bizfon 3 call appearance phone when you receive a lot of phone calls each day. Use the Bizfon 3 line appearance phone if you are running multiple businesses as it allows you to see which phone line a call came in on.
One key feature of the Bizfon small business phone system is auto attendants. You can have a day greeting, and, an after hours greeting. You can also record 2 informational messages, perhaps directions to your location, or, directions for non English speakers.
If you run multiple small businesses, there are ways to separate out calls from one business or the other. Using the Bizfon multi-tenant card, you can have separate greetings or call abilities with each company.
Another great Bizfon feature is virtual extensions. You can use up to 15 optional virtual extensions when you add a voice vault card. These can be pointed to any internal or external phone number or extension, so, no matter where you are, your Bizfon virtual extension follows you. If you always work at home, it's nice to still have a virtual extension as you seemlessly seem to be part of the office group, your Bizfon virtual extensions even have their own voice mail! From the remote location, you can check voice mail, transfer calls to office people, join meetings, use the paging system, place calls from the office phone line, etc.
Speaking of paging systems, the Bizfon has an audio output that can be hooked to an internal paging system to make announcements just like in larger businesses.
