This product has very good noise and echo cancellation. You should be able to connect up to about 150 feet from the base! Since the device is wireless, it runs off of battery, you can expect a good 8 hours of talk time. Of course, you can also choose to plug in the device and run powered as well. A full charge will occur in about 4 hours.
Conversations are full duplex, with 360 degree coverage. You can have up to 8 participants without any problem. Communication is via 2.4Ghz digital spread spectrum. Phone paging is provided in case you have misplaced the phone! The base unit also has a recording output, 2.5mm.
Keypad functions include on/off, phonebook, redial, conference (dials your conference provider), flash, clear, volume, mute. The LCD display shows a variety of information such as battery level, phone in use, mute, phonebook mode, program mode, signal in range, ringer off, scroll, hourglass, timer. Programming options include ringer melody, dialing mode, flash duration, phone #, conference #, service #. User documentation is provided on CD.
