Please note the Command Communications CS5500 has 3 ports for phone lines, but, 2 of them are linked so you cannot run 2 distinctive ring numbers.

The CS5500 has an input for a single telephone line. It has 3 device ports, 2 of which are linked. So, a sample setup would be a phone, answering machine, and a computer or fax machine. Set to automatic mode, the CS5500 will decode the distinctive ring, and, only ring the appropriate port(s). Works with other phone company services with as caller ID and phone company voice mail. The CS5500 also has the ability to transfer a call from one port to another (transfer a fax call for example). Can work with ADSL, but you do need 2 8K Inline filters.

The Comswitch 5500 can also send a special tone to an external phone number to notify you of messages or faxes. There is also a security feature you may want to use, this would require the caller to enter a security code to get through (no junk faxes for example). The device also protects the line using it, so, you will not interrupt a fax by picking up the phone. Comes with a 2 year manufacturer warranty.
