The products on this page can be used with the mono external paging connectors of the Centrepoint Talkswitch, Bizfon, Venture IP, and likely many other systems. Most vendors who sell these systems have no clue how to hook up, or, what paging systems even work with small business phone systems, we are a complete solutions provider. For the systems mentioned above, you do have to make a connector to connect to the back of these SOHO systems (they have 3.5mm mono connectors), but, as an added bonus, we make them also! Just look for the adapter cable on the item list below, you only need one for each phone system box that you own. Hookup is typically via Cat 3+ (Cat 5, Cat 6) cable. You'll need one pair of wire that attaches to the adapter cable we may provide if you buy it, and you'll need another pair of wire to supply power as these are amplified speakers. So, typically, you would mount the power adapter in the same room as the phone system, 1 pair goes to the power adapter, one pair goes to the adapter cable if you bought it from us. Both pairs then run from there through your building to the speaker(s) as they require 4 wires. |
