The ITW Linx Towermax DS/2, MDS2-60, is an add-on module for the Towermax 4 or 8 KSU base modules.
The ITW MDS2-60 allows you to protect 1 8-wire digital line via RJ-45 (such as Lucent Partner, Avaya ATL), or 2 4-wire digital lines using RJ-11/45 (such as Lucent MLX) connectors. These units will not protect analog voltage. The Towermax DS/2 features auto-resetting technology, PTC resistors open when a surge occurs, but once the surge has passed, they close again!
The ITW Linx MDS2-60 measures 4.25" X 4.25" X 1.5". The unit is UL/CSA approved. The clamping level is 110V, and capacitance is about 50pf. |
