The ITW Linx Towermax DS/CO, MDSCO-60, is an add-on module for the Towermax 4 or 8 KSU base modules.
The ITW MDSCO-60 allows you to protect 2 4-wire digital/analog lines (e.g. Lucent Partner), or 2 2-wire tip/ring analog lines for a phone set. Pins 3-6 are protected. The unit features auto-resetting technology, PTC resistors open when a surge occurs, but once the surge has passed, they close again! The ITW Towermax DS/CO also features SignalPerfect technology to insure a clean, clear connection. The line and equipment sides have two RJ11/RJ45 connectors. The clamping level is 70v on pins 3 and 6, and 260v on pins 4 and 5. Therefore, only "line 1" has analog protection, and line 2 has digital protection.
