The ITW Max8 Coax can protect up to 8 AC lines and one F-connector coax line. The coax will protect an antenna, cable TV, or a cable modem, it will not protect a satellite line. The unit has 4 always on outlets, and 4 switched outlets. The outlets are spaced to allow room for transformers. The unit is plugged into a wall outlet via a space saving right-angle plug, and has an 8 foot cord. The Max8 Coax has indicator lights for line fault, ground ok, unsafe voltage, and power protection ok. This unit also has Surgegate Plus circuitry for protecting against prolonged over and under voltage situtations.

The Max 8 Coax also has 2 female F connectors to protect a coax line. The unit contains a shielded SignalPerfect circuit, ensuring a clean, clear connection, and is HDTV ready. A coax cable is included. Clamping level is 0.7V, and insertion loss is <1db. Frequency range is 50Mhz - 1Ghz.

Typical uses for this protector include a computer with cable modem, or a TV system with cable or antenna. The M8C can also be used to custom make a protector using optional allpath signal line modules from Panamax called Allpath modules, though the use of such modules will make any connected equipment warranty claim unlikely. It does, however, work well.

Eliminates 99.7% of EMI,RFI interference.

This unit can handle up to 15A at 1800W of equipment. The response time is less than 1 nanosecond, and it is UL1449 rated at 330V. The spike capacity is 52,000A.

The Max 8 Coax measures 12.7" X 4.5" X 1.9".
