The ITW Linx Max8 Tel can protect up to 8 AC lines and one single line telephone line (including DSL). The unit has 4 always on outlets, and 4 switched outlets. The outlets are spaced to allow room for transformers. The unit is plugged into a wall outlet via a space saving right-angle plug, and has an 8 foot cord. The Max8 Tel has indicator lights for line fault, ground ok, unsafe voltage, and power protection ok. This unit has Surgegate Plus circuitry to protect against prolonged over and under voltage situations.

The Max 8 Tel also has 2 RJ11/45 modular phone jacks and protects pins 3 and 4. The clamping level is 260V, and the capacitance is about 30pf. A 7 foot phone cord is included.

Typical uses for this protector include a computer with modem (including DSL), or telephone equipment. The M8T can also be used to custom make a protector using optional allpath signal line modules from Panamax called Allpath modules, though the use of such modules will make any connected equipment warranty claim unlikely. It does, however, work well.

Eliminates 99.7% of EMI,RFI interference.

The ITW Linx Max 8 Tel can handle up to 15A at 1800W of equipment. The response time is less than 1 nanosecond, and it is UL1449 rated at 330V. The spike capacity is 52,000A.

The Max8 Tel measures 12.7" X 4.5" X 1.9".
