This is a great UPS for small phone systems such as Talkswitch. It is not too big, or, too small. With Talkswitch only attached, and, normal usage, should last at least 2-3 hours. Try to avoid using too large a UPS with smaller phone systems as it tends to fry the power supply. Also, please note a UPS is in no way shape or form a substitute for proper surge protection. Proper protection requires protecting not only the power, but, incoming phone lines, any paging system, any music on hold device, and, all extension cabling. All of those signal paths feed into a phone system and can fry it.
