The HT 800 is an entry level product in the Monster Power product line, and is perfect for a small antenna or cable system, or a satellite sysyem where you do not hook up the phone line. The MP-HT800 has a total of 8 AC outlets, and protection for 1 coax connection (you can mix and match satellite, antenna, or cable). Monsters HT800 features Monsters Proprietary Clean Power Stage 1 Filtering Version 2.0. Polluted AC power can cause problems such as loss of depth, imaging, audio clarity.
The HT800 can easily be wall mounted, it comes with a mounting bracket to mount on the wall or back of your entertainment center. With this unit wall mounted, you'll need a lot less space behind your equipment since the outlets are on the side. All outlets are color coded. The unit uses stage 1 filtering V2.0.
The F connectors on the MP-HT800 are gold plated. The phone surge protection is via a gas-tube arrester.
The MP-HT800 has an audible alarm for surges, a visual protection on indicator, and a ground ok indicator.
