The MP-HTFS500 is designed to be used with a remote plasma, LCD, or HDTV display. The Monster Power MP-HTFS500 has a total of 2 color coded AC outlets, and, is flat enough to fit behind your screen. Monsters HTFS500 features Monsters Proprietary Digital Filter to provide a superb picture. This filter not only removes EMI/RFI interference, but, also digital and video noise coming from other components in your system. There is also a 12V DC trigger so that outlets can be switched on or off via the trigger.
The MP-HTFS500 has an audible alarm for surges, a visual protection on indicator, and a ground ok indicator. Unlike many other protectors, this unit has dual mode protection so that large surges are disconnected before damaging your equipment.
The HTFS500 is rated at 1800 watts continuous. Distortion is < .01%. It has a 2775 joule rating. AC clamping is at 330V.
