No sales tax will be charged on this item to any state. The HTS 850 is an entry level product in the Monster Power product line, and is perfect for a small satellite or cable systems. The MP-HTS850 has a total of 8 AC outlets, and protection for 2 coax connections (you can mix and match satellite, antenna, or cable) and 1 phone connection. Monsters HTS850 features Monsters Proprietary Clean Power Stage 1 Filtering Version 2.0. Polluted AC power can cause problems such as loss of depth, imaging, audio clarity.

The HTS850 can easily be wall mounted, it comes with a mounting bracket to mount on the wall or back of your entertainment center. With this unit wall mounted, you'll need a lot less space behind your equipment since the outlets are on the side. All outlets are color coded. The unit uses stage 1 filtering V2.0.

The F connectors on the MP-HTS850 are gold plated. The phone surge protection is via a gas-tube arrester.

The MP-HTS850 has an audible alarm for surges, a visual surge indicator, and a wiring fault indicator.

The HTS850 is rated at 1800 watts continuous. Distortion is < .01%. It has a 2590 joule rating. AC clamping is at 330V, coax clamping is at 75V.

The HTS850 has an 8 ft Powerline 100 gold contact power cord, using a flat-profile design to allow closer furniture clearance. Brackets are included for wall mounting. 2 jumper cables are included, 1 Monster Internet cable, and 1 SV1F-1M coax cable. The dimensions are 2" X 4" X 11.5".

The warranty is lifetime and includes a $150,000 connected equipment warranty.
