The Panamax Intellimax is the first protection system for Panja, Phast (Landmark), and AMX Control Systems (Netlinx) home automation systems. Home automation systems are very expensive and can be very difficult to protect. This product was designed to address that need. The Intellimax won the CES Innovations 2000 Design and Engineering award.

The Intellimax has 8 outlets on the back. 4 of the outlets are current sensing, and can provide on/off status to your system. This is a huge convenience feature. You can use this to trigger on or off a piece of equipment, or synchronize remote control macros. 2 of the outlets are always on, and the other 2 outlets are switched. On the back is also a ground connection, and 2 Panja ports.

The Panamax Intellimax functions as a surge protector, and also as a line conditioner, removing EMI/RFI noise from both common and normal mode.

When an unsafe voltage condition is detected, the Intellimax will notify your home automation system so it can safely shut down integrated equipment throughout the house. When the unsafe voltage condition goes away, it then notifies your system so that the integrated equipment can return to operation.

The Intellimax does come with Surgegate Plus technology, allowing both over and under voltage protection. Thresholds for shutdown can be set by the user.

Comes with a 3 year warranty. The power cord is 9 feet long. The unit itself is 17.25" X 12" X 1.75". Comes with rack mounting hardware, and a diskette with software drivers.
