The Panamax M4LT-EX is a base module that allows you to add-on other modular products. When used alone, this product can protect up to 4 AC lines, the 4 outlets are switched via an on-off switch. It can also protect either a telephone line (including DSL), or, a 10/100 BaseT ethernet line. The Panamax M4LT-EX includes a DSL phone line splitter. The outlets are spaced to allow room for transformers. The unit is plugged into a wall outlet via a space saving right-angle plug (45 degree offset), and has an 8 foot cord. The M4LT-EX has indicator lights for ground ok, unsafe voltage, and power on/protection ok.
The M4LT-EX also has 2 RJ11 jacks (1 input, 1 output) and protects pins 3 and 4 at a clamping level of 260V for phone protection. A 4 foot phone cord is included.
The Panamax M4LT-EX also has 2 RJ45 jacks for ethernet (1 input 1 output) and protects pins 1-8. A 4 foot cat5 network cable is included, along with a DSL phone line splitter. The power cord is 8 Ft.
The Panamax M4LT-EX has Surgegate Plus circuitry to protect against prolonged brownouts as well as over-voltage. It also is easily expandable via optional add-on signal line modules sold separately.
Typical uses for the Panamax M4LT-EX include a computer with modem (including DSL), telephone equipment, or a computer with an ethernet network connection. Optional signal line modules allow you to protect other signal paths.

The M4LT-EX can handle up to 15A at 1800W of equipment. The response time is less than 1 nanosecond, and it is UL1449 34d edition rated at 500V. The spike capacity is 52,000A.
