The Panamax MOD-UTP5e is an add-on signal line module for the EX and PRO series protectors (any Panamax that accepts signal line modules), along with Towermax bases. For those units accepting add-on signal line modules, this unit provides protection for a Gigabit Network cable (such as 10/100/1000Base-T, Token Ring, Arcnet, Appletalk). The input and output sides of the Panamax MOD-UTP5e are hooked up via RJ45 jacks. The clamping level is 62 +/- 6V volts, all pins are protected plus ground.
