This is an add-on product for the Max In wall MIW-DUAL-SIGNAL-BAY, MIW-SURGE, MIW-XT, and the MIW-POWERKIT-PRO. Generally, you need to order 2 MIW-5RCA as you need one for each end of the system.
For all MIW series products accepting add-on modules, this is one of those modules. This module cleans up the installation better and reduces noise and is required on some models to have a warranty. Use this module if you require connections of the RCA style to your remote plasma TV or projector. The MIW-5RCA provides 5 RCA connections. They can be used for component video, audio, RGBHV, composite video, or IR signals. With a breakout adapter, use for DVI as well. Some of these uses may require an adapter cable. The connector on the outside is female RCA, the connection on the in wall side is BNC as this provides the best signal transfer and has a sure connection.
The MIW-5RCA provides additional protection for the interconnect cables connected to it, which is required for the MIW-POWER-PRO-PFP and the MIW-SURGE as it has two different ground references. Comes with a 3 year warranty IF purchased through an Panamax Authorized Internet Dealer. Otherwise, you have *no* warranty. Clamping level is 9V dc. |
