The Panamax Racmax Light (ML-4200) has a lifetime warranty, and a connected equipment warranty. This unit can be plugged into a surge protector to provide additional outlets, or, can be used on it's own. Use this unit instead of expensive rack lights that burn out. The light in this unit is solid state, and can't burn out. It also emits no heat! The Panamax ML4200 allows you to pick from White, Blue, Green, or Aqua light, switch from one color to another at any time! The light rod is acrylic, and the light source is LED. The unit is a single height unit for rack mounting. The light can light up to 3 feet of rack space. The light can directed up or down.
The ML-4200 is perfect for lighting up your rack mounted equipment. Add it on to an existing surge protector for more outlets, it is completely under the Panamax warranty to attach this unit to an existing Panamax surge protector. Or, use it on it's own.
There are 8 ac outlets on the back of the ML4200, and one convenience outlet on the front. The back outlets are controlled by a front panel power switch. There is also a front panel light color switch, and a rotary brightness knob (including off).
The ML-4200 also employs the Panamax Protect or Disconnect circuitry for catastrophic surges. This means that Joule ratings are not important, a key Panamax advantage.
This unit is 16.86"W by 6.5"L by 1.75"H.
The ML4200 can handle up to 15A at 1800W of equipment. The response time is less than 1 nanosecond. Peak impulse current is rated at 52,000 Amperes! It is UL 1449 rated (2nd edition) at 330V. The joule rating is 1350 Joules, but this is not so important due to the protect or disconnect circuit. The power cord is 9 feet long. You will need to buy single height rack mount ears if you want to rack mount this item. |
