The Panamax MOD-CAT5 is an add-on signal line module for the EX and PRO series protectors, along with Towermax bases. For those units accepting add-on signal line modules, this unit provides protection for a Gigabit Network cable (CAT5, ATM, Fast Ethernet, etc.). The input and output sides of the Panamax MOD-CAT5 are hooked up via RJ45 jacks. The clamping level is 19 volts, all pins are protected.
The Panamax MOD-CAT5 is 4.25" Wide by 2.5" Long by 1.5" High. Lifetime warranty. A 10' CAT5e patch cord is built in to the input and output sides (5 ' each end).
This unit is generally connected to a Panamax base unit that accepts Signal line modules, otherwise an adapter cable is needed. |
