Talkswitch Attendant Console

This license requires a Talkswitch with an ethernet port (VS model or 48-CA or 48-CVA, not older models), and, software version 4.10 or later. This license allows you to run the attendant console. This product provides visibility into phone lines, calls, extensions, and allows instant messaging to others running the software. The attendant console is a software based receptionist console product and more. It is cheaper than many traditional large operator consoles and is appropriate for customers who want to handle calls through one central person. The console has more functions than the traditional hardware based consoles. It can be used with without an auto attendant. The software loads as a service on a single PC in your company. Other PCs running the console then connect to that PC. The same PC can run the service and the software, no dedicated machine is necessary. You can load the client software on all pcs if you wish, no additional license is needed, it's a site license. This would give all people a view of the calls and statuses.

Features include:

• See your incoming phone lines (analog and VOIP), see caller ID even if not your call. This can allow a supervisor to monitor their employees.
• See your phone calls and their status
• See extensions and their status, are they busy or not, have a call on hold, is do not disturb set?
• Transfer, park, hold, transfer to voicemail, page, hang up all from the software, no need to use the phone. You can drag and drop calls as well.
• You can process the call before you even answer it, for example, a known telemarketer, transfer to a telemarketing "mailbox" or to a message telling them to remove you from the list.
• Integrated instant messenger so that you can inform another user that they have a second call, what they want, who they are, without having to use more traditional methods and interrupt their current call.
