The Whistler PI-1200W is a three outlet 1200 Watts continuous inverter. It can provide 2400 Watts of brief surge or startup power. Features include voltage protection (battery output too high or low), audible alarm for low battery, overload protection (won't allow you to draw more than rated watts), short circuit protection, voltage and wattage meter, and thermal cutoff (if inside temp is too high). Also has a thermostat controlled cooling fan. The PI-1200W comes with Smartsurge control, allowing this unit to startup more appliances or devices when compared to competitors. No load current draw < 1 A.
The Whistler PI-1200W has the capacity to power devices such as a heavy duty drill, 1/6HP sump pump, 4 1/2" disc grinder, microwave (600W), chest freezer, etc.
