The Whistler PI-400W is a dual outlet 400 Watts continuous inverter. It can provide 800 Watts of brief surge or startup power. Includes a cigarette adapter, and, clip on cables to attach directly to a battery. Features include voltage protection (battery output too high or low), audible alarm for low battery, overload protection (won't allow you to draw more than rated watts), short circuit protection, and thermal cutoff (if inside temp is too high). There is an internal cooling fan. The PI-400W comes with Smartsurge control, allowing this unit to startup more appliances when compared to competitors. No load current draw < .2 A.

The Whistler PI-400W has the capacity to power devices such as laptop computers, Belt Sanders, 3/8" drill, jig saw, 20" TV/VCR Combo, bench grnder, etc.

Measures 7.35" X 5" X 2". Comes with a 2 year warranty, definitely a high quality inverter.
